making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
I was wondering how much data I've been using so I checked. I'm at 26gb and have 13 days left on the month. Take that sprint!

Did you call sprint to check ur data, or use their site..??

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
What are you guys doing to use up so much bandwidth? LOL. Like others said, 4G is a little overrated. I tried to use it in my gym parking lot last night in a 4G area and could barely get a signal. It really is spotty. Also have to be plugged in somewhere cause it will kill your battery.

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
yeah that's pretty insane. I watch football all day Sunday on my phone and I can't rack up that much data, That Droid X NFL app is freaking awesome btw, been rockin that bad boy on my HD2 and watched Red Zone for 3 hours till my Texans game came on (which turned out to be a heart-stopper like never before)

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
Has anyone gotten that NFL Mobile app to output the NFLRZ to HDMI out?

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
All that data is 3g wifi tethered. I use my phone as my main interwebs. I couldn't imagine moving 250gb a month. That's just nutty.
I looked up my data usage on the sprint website. -Loki |
Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
I have internet access at work and at home which is where I spend most of my time. I guess people who don't have don't have one or both use the hell out of their internet on the phone.

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
Its because his evo built him an island than transformed into a plane to fly him there. LOL

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
I use my HTC Evo for my main source of internet at home on my desktop with easytether, and use WiFi Tether for my laptop. I download movies, songs, and just about all of my software. I also use my phone at work for at least 6 hours out of my shift and the most I've used is 7gbs in a month. There's no way someone could use 250gbs-350gbs a month.

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
I'm not sure how some of you all are getting away with the data usage you all are claiming. I, too, use my Sprint phone as the main source of my internet. Right now I split my data usage between my EVO and my old TP2. I just checked and I'm shocked that I've only used about 5.9GB of data on my EVO. Haven't checked the usage on my TP2. Before the EVO, I was averaging about 11-12GB of data per month on my TP2. I wouldn't have dared gone beyond that, since I was sure Sprint would cut me off if I pushed the limits anymore.

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
Damn...... 250? Sprint is going to cut the unlimited data plan........ 10-20gb is ok..... 250-300 you need comcast or something.....
|
Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
I will be pissed if all of you 40gb+ people ruined it for the rest of us
|
I've used about 6 gigs in two weeks but I'm not aiming for an award... I just moved and money's kind of tight so I figured I'd just tether for now... most of that is torrents and school work

Re: making the most out of my "Premiem Data" fee
just remember Newton's Law of Motion. for every action, there's an equal reaction. and exorbitant amount of data on a 3g phone each month..the equal reaction will be a tiered data pricing on 3g. yeah yeah...i know a whole bunch of customers have been doing this for years. but we didn't really think sprint was just going to let it go on, did we?

Final thoughts: All of you jerks who boast about using 50+gb of data per month are going to be the exact cause for Sprint's reasoning if they decide to invoke a data cap. Everyone who pays their premium data fee already plus their plan price should give you guys a big pat on the back for your contiuing efforts to help make us pay more in this already busted ecomony. |
