How long does it take to get your upgrade reset when returning a phone?
 

I bought a phone from a 3rd party retailer last week on the 8/8. It was the LG Rumor Touch and wasn't what my wife expected. We went to return it on 8/13 and the dude got really pissed bc I told him my wife didn't like it and we are getting the Intercept. He said we'll have the Intercept tomorrow so just wait and we'll exchange it then. I told him sprint has it for $99 wiht no rebates bc they were doing a special. So he returned it and swapped my old phone back. What he did when he swapped the phone was put it as an order. So now I called sprint an they said I have to wait until it clears the system in order for me to get my upgrade back. Is there anyway to get around this? or do I have to wait for the system to reset? Thanks

happened to my brother, they said it wouldnt be until his next billing cycle, but online chat support was able to get around that once he told his story

I returned a phone to Best Buy, they called sprint during the return and I got my upgrade back that day...so, YMMV

I had to call and speak with AS to get this resolved. They had to call that kiosk place and confirm that I returned the phone to reset the upgarde. Everything is good now. :lol:
