sprint facebook text notifications not working

i notified sprint today because i wasnt receiving my email notifications with my aol account. they seemed to be hiding about what is really going on. they say they are aware of this problem and are working to correct it, and that is all. she said aol is the only company that is giving them a problem. when i asked her if this is something that could be taken care of soon or if this could linger for awhile, or possible never be corrected she wouldnt answer. she even said if i had another email address beside aol to use.

It's not Sprint. I lost my sms on Thursday & I eventually also unsubscribed & tried to sign up again to notice that on step 1 of step 3 of the mobile notification where it says what country do you live in & what carrier do you have, if you look really close when you click on next to go to step 2 when you click on Sprint (or whatever carrier you have) it clears the data & puts the generic "choose your carrier" before you even get to step 2. Therefore, Facebook is not even communicating with us through that portal & we will not get a confirmation code back. I hope everybody who sees my post goes to Facebook & sends them a message letting them know that we are all aware that they have dropped the ball. They won't fix it if we don't make a BIG deal! I love this feature, it's actually my main way of communicating on Facebook.

Don't think that's the problem. I just emailed a message to my Sprint text phone number (##########@messaging.sprintpcs.com where ########## is your Sprint phone number) and it worked just fine.

I found the fix everyone! This was buggin' me too...but this is all you have to do. Text the word "on" to 32665 and they will give you a confirmation code.

Looks like Text messaging is back up on Sprint!!
