Anyone know why they would put 4G for New York in Syracuse and Rochester and not Manhattan or Long Island? it seems silly to me. and im jealous because i need LI

Well look at the population of all those cities. I think Brooklyn has a larger population than Syracuse and Rochester combined.

You need a way larger infrastructure to support cities opposed those villages that have it already.HAHA

I spoke with a clear rep. about service. They said that I was still in a dead zone (18042-Bath Pa). I'm close to Allentown. It's about a half hour drive from my house noy in Doyelston. I asked if we would in the near future and they said in about six moths. That would be great. I would assume if clear is activated then my Evo will pick up 4G.

Clearwire servicein your area doesn't mean you will be able to pick up 4g on your evo from sprint.

Either way, i would be able to dump Verizon for home internet service. They are the only internet provider in my area and they can only give me 1-3 mbps for about $50.00. I'm in a community with underground wiring so right now I'm stick with Verizon. My Evos's 3G is actually pretty good. about 2mbps

So I was at the Sprint store today In phoenix exchanging my car charger (which was amazingly easy with them it stopped working and they just switched it for a new one) but I was talking to the guy there and he said hes getting an evo soon because they have a 3 hour training session next Sunday all about 4G, so he said that were gonna be getting it soon but told me not to tell... sorry Sprint store guy, I'm a horrible secret keeper
