Re: Question about Sprint's Contract

so i saw a rumor/post on tomshardware.com that the Evo will be $200 with contract and $600 without.

Isn't the fee to break the contract $250?

So could I just pay the $250 to break the contract under my Mom's name and get a new account with my name and pay $200 for the cell??

Save me some money instead of paying for $600 for the phone, and I can sell my TP and gain some money back.

or

Should I just do the TOL?

Re: Question about Sprint's Contract

That works. Be sure your credit is good enough to open your own account. Which would be a factor either way.

Re: Question about Sprint's Contract

Well my mom's credit sucks when she opened the account for me and I know I have above a 750 credit score, but its just under a year of history. So hopefully Sprint likes it though its been a short credit history..crosses fingers lol

Re: Question about Sprint's Contract

Should be fine... Open new account first then cancel old.... you'll lose your number. I'm not sure you can port and get the new account pricing since its not really porting.

Re: Question about Sprint's Contract

yeah.... one sacrifice...losing my number, and I loved my number! SIGH but for my reasons it is way worth it losing my number and gaining an EVO !!!!
