Nah, not interested in iPhone whatsoever. I've played with a couple of the years and have surfed some message boards that support them. Overall, it just doesn't fit into m day-to-day routine. I find it to be more for entertainment than for productivity. That being said, I see the iPhone as a passing fad.

So far, 25% of the people on a WinMo fan site have said they would switch to iPhone if their carrier had it. I was expecting about 10%! That is why M$ needs to quickly get their act together. If or when iPhone is open to all carriers, WinMo and their obsolete OS is doomed until WinMO 7 is out.

Just to reiterate from http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=117

There are MILLIONS of uses that WinMo has been designed for and a phone is just one of them. The fact that people sit here and say MS let WinMo go is just stupid. That is why they went the route to split functionality purposes and relabel WinMo to be Windows Phone. They are now going to manage different peices based on different use applications. Windows Mobile as we know it will never die, the functionality purposes and uses of it fetches far beyond what a phone does, and is actually the primary tool of alot of portable companies.

So, keep bashing WinMo, but if you want to not look like a dumbass, simply say "iPhone OS" functions more properly as a "Cell Phone OS" than Windows Mobile, specifics might get you further (even tho alot here won't agree with that either).

Agreed. I've been saying for a while now that the iPhone is the new Sidekick. Once it goes to other carriers I see the fascination wears off a bit.

Re: If Sprint & VZW had iPhone, will you switch?

No "bashing" here. I tell it like it is (even if I don't like it). The I-Phone is beautiful. It works PERFECT!!!! no other system scrolls like an I-phone. Nice size, clean and all around good phone. BUT, i would not change. I have an Imagio and absolutly LOVE it. The reason I wouldn't change is because I am sick of the square Icons they have. Yes it can be customized a bit but you always see those squares. I think HTC design is much nicer. The I-phone is for more non-samrtphone/business people (Kids). My imagio is the ultimate phone for me yet my girl (that doesn't need a $60 a month data plan) would be good for the I-phone. Their easy to customize and play with.

So the I-phone is for Amatures (not in a bad way)
and our WM are for more Pro's (I'm not one of them)...

but I won't bash it. It is a very nice phone no matter what you think. And I'm an Apple hater. If the new 4.0 one has a different look I would be willing to try it.

Re: If Sprint & VZW had iPhone, will you switch?

Im gonna ring in here

The iphone is not for amatures.lol It's for anyone who want a hassle free phone that just works..( not pro iphone i hate apple ) sure u see alot of soccer moms and teens with them.. but alot of men my age use them also..

And WM is not for pro's ( though to get it the way u want it does take some knowledge on how to do that )Its just for people who use it for work or hobbies like alot of us here.

personally if sprint ever got the iphone.. I know my wife would be all over it.. but its not for me.. im happy with my hero and android period..if i did have to change,, prolly go back to windows..

Re: If Sprint & VZW had iPhone, will you switch?

I knew i shouldn't have said "amatures". I didn't mean it that way. I meant they are for someone that doesn't want to do hacking to customize their phones. You can't do most WM hacks without reading on this website. Thats what I meant. ( I know you realize this but I figured I would clear it up). The I-phone is effortless and work unbeleivably. A 2 year old could customize that thing. Look at me. I can only do a few things until my Imagio is unlocked(which I am willing to wait for because I love WM) but most people arn't like us. They don't want to spend their WHOLE day on a website reading through a thousand posts so they can change their weather update interval. Sorry and thanks
