I purposely didn't even suffered the cost of moving to VZW from the awesome Sprint plan... just to not have the size of the Epic with keyboard... my son has this and loves it but never uses the keyboard although he thought he HAD to have it.. found out otherwise. LOL

I traded my bold for a Evo about a week ago, I has not been easy getting used to not having a keyboard. I really like the Droid OS overall.

Have you tried the Epic?

I played around with one at a sprint store. It is a sweet device with a keyboard similar to my old tp2. The only thing I didn't really like was the touchwiz UI.

You can take it off and use stock android...or install Launcher Pro/ADW Launcher

I wanted to trade the bb bold I had for a Evo or a Epic, I went ahead and put an ad on Craigslist for a trade for any of those two phones (even trade no money involved) and the first opportunity that showed up was for a Evo. I would have traded for the Epic if the opportunity showed up first. But then again the bold I had was from a trade for a tp2 that had a cracked screen and then went ahead and got a Evo for a bold I paid nothing for, all in all I'm happy with it I'm sure I would have enjoyed a physical keyboard more but I can't really complain.

im actually due for an upgrade now and im thinking about the evo or the epic. but don't really shell out for the coolness fee that comes with either phones. besides...trying my best to hold off for a few more months to see what goodies Sprint will be coming out with.

I dont think I'll ever buy a bb for personal use again. You made the right choice but maybe the wrong phone...took me a minute to get used to swype but im good now lol.
