Pocketnester Controls dont work on HTC Touch

I have searched and searched on here and on google and can't find any help. I'm running pocketnester 0.7 and i've got a few games on the phone. I can see the controls under the screen but they are grey lookin almost like they arent active. I have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
