I was able to install the download. Thanx malatesta! But was unable to get the cab from modaco to work as far as creating new docs. Any luck with that?
|
Same here
I can't get the new doc program to work either :'( LIL HELP HERE! :-)
|
my guess would be that we are using wm6 for ppc and maybe trying that new doc cab (ppc) will work?
|
Ok...
WM5≠PPC,WM5,WM6=PPC.
Pocket PC (PPC) is a type of handheld (usually running windows). Most people are currently using a PPC with WM5 on it. It's kinda like saying I have a Dell with Vista on it (Hardware Type/OS). But I digress: You're probably correct, there's only a small difference that's keeping it from working on WM5. BTW Welcome to the Forum |
thanx, i hope malatesta can chime in soon.
|
huh, good point!
I just assumed since it installed that it'd work. Will have to post the MoDaCo thread where the developer is to see what's up....will do that later. |
thanx, i will as well. i will also try to copy a blank excel spreadsheet and blank word document and make them both read only. Create a shortcut for each and put them in the office folder in the start menu.

good show mal! ill have to try this on my (now my girlfriends) q
|
Mal,
The plugin works fine with the latest version of .NET. It does give me an error each time that I try to create a document but does it anyway. Other than the "Alert" message, it does what it is designed for. |
Re: WM6: Mobile Office works on WM5 devices (all)
nevermind.
