Re: Sound routing problem after EXTUSB unplug/replug
Why not just use the 3.5mm jack?
You have a RHOD400, yes? Who needs that silly extUSB . But audio routing is very broken right now. There's a lot of new code that will hopefully fix all of the audio routing issues our port has. |

Re: Sound routing problem after EXTUSB unplug/replug
In my car I have a 3-in-1 EXTUSB adapter to (1) USB charger, (2) 3.5mm jack to stereo & (3) EXTUSB headset (no BT in car). It's just a lot easier to make 1 connection when entering/exiting the car. The 3.5mm jack on the phone does sound a lot better through the stereo, though.

3.5mm is one connection, but I guess if you have to charge that would make 2.
New acoustic code should in theory resolve the issue you're having. |

Re: Sound routing problem after EXTUSB unplug/replug
Arrrghhh,
Just wanted to comment - I've got a headset which I use for hands-free that plugs in to the USB port (used for audio & phone conversations) that came with my Touch Pro 2. I am getting audio on phone calls through the earbuds, and the microphone works, but only on one earbud. It's mono all over again! No worries, I can wait for the new acoustic code, just thought I'd mention another use for the USB plug. Gremlin |
