Which is this app, present in the default install of FRX07? This app seems to have a lot of permissions, including read write contacts, directly call phones, access to google data and modify phone state and identity.

Can some one please shed some light on this app, and the app cannot be uninstalled.

It's part of the Android OS. I think it's Pinyin? It's definitely a Google app, for enabling other languages. The reason it has so many permissions is it's a language app - there's many aspects within the OS where any language app will need to get its grubby fingers into.

I wouldn't worry about it...

Google pinyin, ..............

adb shell rm /system/app/PinyinIME.apk
adb uninstall com.android.inputmethod.pinyin
