Just tested this out . I think it's slightly slower than dolphin mini browser and the flash supports is just what dolphin support. I prefer to dolphin Mini. you all can try this dolphin.

They added pinch to zoom. I use mini 90% of the time, unless I need flash.

I am tired of Stock Browser too. Opera is good but i am prefer Dolphin Browser. It is faster and have stronger features. You can have fullscreen , google service, show IP etc. Most of all, the gusture feature is awesome.You may try Dolphin and have a comparison. Go Dolphin Browser
