Re: Call Issues...

On the occasions I lose 3g data, normally I am not able to recover without a reboot. Yesterday this happened and I tried turning wifi on and off, and that fixed the 3g. (I normally leave wifi off since I do not use it.) Just sharing...

Re: Call Issues...

If you crash to the boot animaition, in my experience, your done for, and will need a hard boot to get things up and running proper. Every time I try to run again after a the boot animation failure happens, which is only maybe one time a week, the phone is super laggy and usually has other problems.

This past weekend I did loose 4g another time, and again turning wi-fi on and off returned my 4g service. So at least the fix is consistent for my phone.

Also, I still have zero phone issues. Running 24/7 or until my battery dies and I need to reboot!

You shouldn't get any crashes to the boot animation if you're running a system image that disables JIT. The build.prop's were re-enabling it, so if you were using one of those please stop...

Also, I assume you mean 3g . I never tried flipping wifi on/off, I'll see if that does the trick as well.

Oh, and I've had reboots to the boot animation, and the phone be just fine afterwards. Kinda frustrating, but hopefully we won't see any more of those issues with JIT disabled.

Re: Call Issues...

I just switched to the newest build.prop, but how can I confirm the JIT is disabled/removed?

And, yeah, I meant 3g, not 4g.

Easiest way is adb: "adb logcat |grep -i jit" - basically if you see nothing, you're good. If you see stuff about JIT tables being resized... then JIT's enabled.

Or you can do the the fun way - make a phone call to your voicemail and abuse the heck outta the volume control. Rebooted basically every single time for me with JIT enabled
