Hardware 3d? for android on tp2
 
Noob ?. Now that the Hardware 3d works what does that bring to the android build. What will work now that didnt before or what will work better now?

I know its a noob question but just one way to find out the answer (asking)

Well i just seen that the 3d is needed for playing angry birds so thats all i needed to know

Nope..... Didn't do nothing on my end.everything is still slowand buggy. I test using blowup lite, and that's still running at about 7 fps.

It's supposed to accelerate processing of graphics and improve visual quality of certain file types/apps that need it...

i tested it with a game and i got like 3-5fps with the game and it was like 20fps with just the cpu......

The only definitive improvements I've seen/heard of are Neocore (3D benchmark) went from 1fps to 18fps and Gallery 3D works where it used to just crash.

So in short, I think at this point, it's mostly academic, but it's a great step forward nonetheless!

Don't we need it if we want any chance of using Sense on Android?
