Waiting for sd card
ok i hit the search button and couldnt find anything..
i was so happy with my tpdroid until i had to reset. now when i try and boot into droid i get a massage that says waiting for sd card..and it just keeps doing that any ideas? i guess droid doesnt wanna pic up my 8g card anymore..reformatted still nothing windows mo picks it up tho..pop in another card 4g :( and it works guess this will do till i get a new 8g |

I think NTFS and other journaled file systems are not recommended for SD cards. Please correct me if I'm wrong here, but that's my understanding! |

I am having the same issue using a 4Gb card, which worked on builds prior to 1/21/11. I used the tools above to long format as FAT32, but still get the "Waiting for SD card" message over and over.
If I load andboot files to the stock 512mb card, Android boots no problem. I don't understand why my 4Gb no longer works, even though WM uses it just fine. Any other ideas? |
