Still not quite ready for everyday use, but oooooh so tantilizingly close...

Everyone's needs are different, so for me camera and fixing power issues are the most important.

I would really love to see the headphone jack work for those of us on the Sprint TP2. I miss my pandora/slacker radio player

You can trick it with that force command in your startup.txt...

I am surprised that BT is not higher of a requirement. Its the only thing stopping me from going full time over to andriod. I sync it with my car stereo but i would have thought all the people with the stupid ear piece would be bitching lol

No way!! What do I add to the startup.txt? I have tried some things, but could never get it to work for me. Thanks

I think you misunderstand the Android dev. I don't think the Devs work under and "requirements". They work on what they want to work on.
And I doubt this thread really has much of an influence on anything. It's just a poll thing. Just to see what people would like to see next. I think we are kidding ourselves if we think this thread is setting any requirements for the Developers... lol

Agreed, but I'm assuming everyone needs their device to be powered on? With MightyROM, I can actually forget to plug in my phone and be fine for the entire next day. Same phone in Android and I'm lucky to make it through a work day and if I forget about it, I have a dead phone in my pocket. Kind of fundamental, you know?

So help out! It's not exactly like flipping a switch that just magically optimizes the power management... I'm sure it'll get better, but somehow I doubt it'll ever be exactly on-par with WinMo... unless you expect miracles, which it seems like you do.

Glad to see you're so grateful for all of their volunteer work...

While I agree with the sentiment of your post (EVERYONE should try to help out), I'm not sure that you're right about power management. Battery life on my Sprint Touch is as good in Android as it ever was in Windows--and I'm overclocking to boot. All it takes is a few dedicated devs. Which, it seems, the TP2 finally has.
