Are you using the build-in Wifi hotspot app? Are you experiencing sometimes TouchPad won't detect until you switch Security to Off or to WPA2? Also are you able to Turn Off the Hotspot on TP2 after using it? Last edited by Flagmax; 10-03-2011 at 02:34 PM. |

Re: Simple Guide, Android on SD card! 4 Easy Steps (15 min): TP2 DL links (FRX07.1)
Ok I had to travel last week and when I would powerdown my phone, when getting on the plane, I saw that it didn't powerdown, but rebooted instead. I then let it boot windows, and did a power down there.
How can I get the powerdown in android to actually powerdown, and not reboot? thanks, dave |

First, thanks to all that made android on tp2 possible. Second, it took me a minute to realize arrrrgh was a username, and not people just arrrrgh'ing out of frustration. Lol
I got mine working after a few reboots on sprint, but would freeze often just trying to configure settings. What is the highest I can overclock at? I was using winmospeed on the winmo side at 768 without any problems before disabling it to boot frx071. Also, when receiving txt msgs in frx071 will they not show up again if I reboot back to winmo? |

Most seem to max out on OC in Android around 748. Some have gone higher... I find 710 is very stable, so I don't go above that. Text messages are only sent once. So if the phone receives them, they are not sent again... This is why I like Google Voice. I also don't use WinMo anymore, so it doesn't really matter to me. |

Re: Simple Guide, Android on SD card! 4 Easy Steps (15 min): TP2 DL links (FRX07.1)
I'm giving my son my TP2 with Android on it, but want to basically wipe the device. I have the power saving scripts up and configured, so I'd like to keep all that. What is the easiest way to wipe all the data, apps, contacts, etc, but keep the android install (system) in tact?
Can I do this? thanks dave |

However, you'll have to reapply any "power saving scripts". Not sure which ones you speak of. |
