How do you set music as ringtones??

For some reason I am not able to set songs as ringtones or any other sound as a ringtone. I can play the music and also have put the files in the ringtone folder but when I press & hold on the file and select music options, Set as ringtone is greyed out.

Is anyone else having this issue?
