Found solution to have simcard and have Android up and running CDMA
Threw luck I found out why you could not have service while simcard was in the phone.
To have your cdma tp2 running android without taking the simcard out. 1.Delete all files related to android 2.Soft reset 3. Goto Settings,Personal,Phone, network and set Mode of operation to cdma only 4. Install cab version of Android 5.Edit the startup.txt file and change force_cdma=0 to force_cdma=1 and save. 6.Run Project Android chose your keyboard and check force Cdma. 7.enjoy having your simcard in for those who want it in. press thanks if this help Bugs found when doing testing i found out that this erase your startup txt after your second or third boot still looking into that. this may not happen to everyone but if it dose keep a copy of your startup text and copy and past. |

So why post this now? Announcing you'll share later. Just post when you're ready to post. You're like the LeBron James of the TP2 Android forum...

Why not just wait until you're ready to post? What's the point of making a post to say you're going to post something soon? |

1. Changing force_cdma from 0 to 1 is exactly the same thing that the CDMA checkbox does in the startup utility. So steps 5 and 6 are redundant. 2. Do not make sure both boxes are checked. The Rhodium HW3D does not work. You're actually doing more harm than good by checking the Hardware 3D box... |

Also when i did check the box for Cdma without editing text it didnt work all the time. that why i said edit to make sure. 2. I think thats theirs a file that tell the when the phone has sim active or not so may if someone can find that file and edit it get it to tell that cdma is active and dont have to be in cdma only mode |
