Battery Charging with the latest Kernel
 

So for the people that didn't know that the latest package from

glemsom.anapnea.net/android/htc-msm-android/ the battery is charging i was a 50 % in wmb now i went back to wmb and i am a 100 %

still charges for me i was at 50 % on windows and they i left the phone charging 2 hours later I went back to windows and i was at 100 % maybe because i am using this Custom room= |WWE|BharS|23551|PROJ_BS|Sense2.5.2012.14|GENERIC| BLK|XDA_UC|09APR|V6.0|FB|eR|DR|CH

Again, what are we missing that you are seeing that this is news? Charging has been working (and documented as such) for 1-2+ weeks now. I'm assuming everyone knew that it was working. The actual charge percentage still is not working, nor are most of the power management functions still. Continuously charging your battery in Android is also not recommended because of this as it may overcharge the battery causing damage to it and your device.

for a lot o people doesn't work and didn't work for me before that kernel. so just to let you know.

And i think it is a news because now you can see the little icon bar moving (charging) even the most you get is 15 % in Android = 100 % WM is still a good progress.

As of yesterday, the newest autobuild kernel was actually giving much closer to useful battery numbers -- 63% at full charge instead of 8-15%. Still not great, but things are changing for the better.
