Re: [CAB](XDA) Android 2.0.1 - Easier Install
Im not entirely sure if you guys are using the cab from brilliantmistake, but this one is actually FOR the TP2, it comes with an update tool for the kernel, rootfs (which is how you get the new GPS fix), etc. Its already calibrated for the tp2, stuff like that to cut down the confusion when installing.

Re: [CAB](XDA) Android 2.0.1 - Easier Install
I'm with you guys on the no service. Well actually I have had service and lost it on reboot. I am running Mightys rom on top and have downgraded to sprint Rom and a couple others. Regardless I have not been able to run it stable. The guys from the project have been putting alot of time updating the Rootfs and Cabs, being a long time Kitchen cook I feel stumped on this one.

is Android on TP2 still really buggy? or is it worth a try?

Re: [CAB](XDA) Android 2.0.1 - Easier Install
I think it's very nice. If I didn't, I wouldn't be trying to get it to run stable. Stable being with service. The project continues to be developed and changes being made everyday. I say give it a try, besides its just on your SDcard. You don't have to Flash your Rom again if it doesn't work. Just soft reset.

is there anyway to revert back to your regular rom without soft reset? |
