^^^ also on top of that, make sure you turn off any overclocking (if you have any)

I have Sprint TP 2 and having same problem of getting no network when I boot to Andorid with Haret.exe. What do you mean by force cdma? Is there a simple solution that a newbie can do? Please explain in simple step by step. Thank you.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 5-20-2010

It appears editing CDMA force to 0 had some kind of delayed effect. Now, I can get Android to work; however, I' m getting message that my SD card is not inserted (even though it is inserted). My phone does not ring. It appears that no ringtone was included in this ROM. Is that correct? Also, battery charging light and button lights stay on when the phone goes into screen sleep mode. Are other people experiencing the same problems? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Smile Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 5-20-2010

I hope this will be helpful to someone. I had Mighty Rom installed on my TP2, so this Android file wouldn't work. I flashed to Iron Rom, now Andorid file loads up. Just need to fix some minor problems (as mentioned on above post).

So first off, you can edit old posts. You don't have to keep reposting and bumping an old sticky thread...

Second, this thread as I said is old. There's a newer one - are you using the newest stuff....? Please take the time to read thru that FAQ that's in that post as well...

Is there any chance we can get this thread un-stickied? It'd reduce clutter and make things easier for new users.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 5-20-2010

Well, I dunno if this is still the troubleshooting thread for the 400/500s, but I'm having an small issue which I think would be easy to fix (/i'm doing something wrong..) but a search isn't yielding anything. I'm using a Telus RHOD500, and the keyboard mapping for the symbols are incorrect. Using the latest build from the xdandroid site and updated from within the startup utility to 11-08. the startup utility is set to rhod500, Also in startup.txt the last parameter within the set cmdline function is physkeyboard=rhod500", before the boot. I can't find any information regarding this though searches and the FAQ, other then that the keys have already been mapped (at least to verizon..) a while ago. I don't know if the verizon keyboard is the same as the telus keyboard either. So I'm at a dead end. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
