Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 5-20-2010
Had not seen that as a recommendation anywhere yet. I'll give it a shot. I'm willing to try just about anything.
I've reformated the SD card. I've even done a complete reset of EVERYTHING on the phone. I needed to make sure that nothing that was already there was potentially blocking it. I'm usually so good at figuring this stuff out. |

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 5-20-2010
Sorry for what's probably a dumb question but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. I understand the sound doesn't work through the speaker but is it supposed to work through headphones? Sorry, totally new at this and not sure if there would be a difference between the two.

No, your overclocking command should be between the cmdline quotes.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 5-20-2010
[QUOTE=madamealaina;1785023]I have no data!! I've searched everywhere and tried ever suggestion I can find before posting up. I've got the Sprint version so I tried with and without the SIM, nothing works. I've tried deleting the data.img file and starting that from scratch, nothing... I've tried different versions of the rootfs.img as I've seen recommended, nothing...
I think the issue you have perhaps is that you have to start the data before booting into Android. I had that issue with my VZ phone. If I boot to Android without the data connection in WM, then I got no data, but if I had data in WM, then it worked. Try a send/receive in WM on your email then boot to Android. Hope that works/helps. |

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 5-20-2010
The first time i tried to use android it would not boot for me. I dont know why but I flashed the original sprint ship rom and took off the sim card and it booted up. I then went back to mighty rom with the latest radio and android works 90% of the time, some times it looks up while booting android.
kawasaki9r Take off sim card and put the phone in CDMA only under the phone properties in WinMo |

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 5-20-2010
The phone and data work in winmo. They do not work at all in android. It keeps telling me that the radio was disabled. I'm not sure how to fix that issue. The sim card is out and it is set to CDMA only. It still doesn't work.
The latest that I got from it was "process android.process.acore is not responding". That message popped up the last time I booted into it. It then asked if I wanted to force or wait for a response. Selecting either option did nothing to give me 3g access. |
