Thanks

You could just use Mediafire.com for free.

From what I read it should. You may need to remove the force_cdma=1 from your startup.txt. Also, you will have to test Android running with the SIM card in it as this causes some problems when it is inserted like 3G not working.

take my word. i have mentioned this before.
i never had to take the sim card out of the tp2, before boot into android, while i use sprint and the phone works just fine.
the sim card is from a provider outside usa.

Wow...I can completely see why these kinds of posts can be so aggravating! I have been testing out new kernels daily for months now hoping for some progress on sound or blue tooth... all the while never asking about it once because I know these guys are working hard and we all want the same thing!..Then you see this guy stumble in and ask something like this.. makes me wanna throw my laptop!! LOL keep up the good work guys!

Just want to say thank you so much for the developers working on this. You guys are awesome and your time is greatly appreciated....with that said please guys try to focus your attention on getting the external speaker to work so I can hear rings. Thanks so much and keep up the good work I can't wait for a fully functional working version of this.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 4-20-2010

hello, i am new to all this but have followed all the steps & everything is working great that should be working. so a big thanks for all devs out there working on this!! i have one question about overclocking. each time that i complete the cmdline mod, during boot, no matter where i place the "acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=xxxxxx" (x's representing actual #'s). i used the thread link (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...2&postcount=11) & it says "This is the cmd line switch you need to add to the cmdline text in your startup.txt remember to add it before the keyboard entry". i have done this & put it in several other places but nothing but freezing up. i know that i am missing something but cant figure it out. i checked to make sure there arent to many spaces so the boot reads the info incorrectly. all info is copy & pasted into cmdline. need a bit of assistance. do i need to start a new line?

here is the STARTUP.TXT file i am using :

set RAMSIZE 0x6000000
set RAMADDR 0x10000000

set mtype 2292
set KERNEL zImage
set initrd initrd.gz

#pwf dm.txt 0x8e0000 0x20000

set cmdline "msmvkeyb_toggle=off gsensor_axis=2,1,3 lcd.density=240 htc_hw.force_cdma=1 acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=768000 physkeyboard=rhod500"

boot

is it in the wrong place? where should it be?

thanks again
