Thanks

I haven't tested them, and I actually doubt I could ATM cause I just restarted back to WinMo a little bit ago and my battery is >10% right now, and I probably won't be able to charge it anytime soon either. I will still post them here if you (or anyone else) would like to try them out.

I'm guessing that to test it, I would have to first put the files in the correct place when booted into Android, then add a switch in the startup.txt file to tell it which keymap to use? There are 2 files attached. One is the .kcm file I changed, the other is just the RHOD400 .kl file renamed. If I get time later, I can also make sure all of the buttons are labeled correctly in the .kl file, but they are at least close enough for now.

Some of the keys in the .kl file may need changed. I looked @ the RHOD500 keyboard layout online thinking I could make the changes for you VZW folks since I did the RHOD400 ones. It looked like you guys have some different base keys at least between FN and spacebar. Have you run a test yet and have you had someone generate a .kcm.bin? PM me (as I may loose track of your responses in this thread) sometime and I can let you know if you're on track. If you really need me too I can either set you up with the right file to test it yourself or I can sneak into a VZW store and maybe test if they'll let me.

Anyone know if you still have to remove your SIM with the new merged build or is force_cdma=1 enough now?

I tried quick to test, but couldn't figure out how to put the files into the keymap folder within android. I don't have much time until I get off of work to really play around with it to test, but I'm going to try again when I get home tonight. There are some different keys between the FN and spacebar, but if no one else got to it sooner, I was going to worry about that after at least the FN stuff was working. And I don't have a .kcm.bin file to try either.

I haven't tried with the latest (4/1), but I think one of the releases just prior to this also had the force_cdma flag and it wouldn't work with the sim in. It could be that the flag wasn't fully supported then though.

I am new to the whole Andriod thing, this being my first time downloading and running it. I restarted the device three times and was still unable to get service... after going into settings/wireless & network settings/ Mobile network's was greyed out and I couldn't even select it. I then removed the sim card. Data and service worked on boot:headbang:
