The application live wallpaper picker (process android.process.acore) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"

Do you happen to know whats causing the app to stop working?

Might need some additional framework that was removed.... Not sure.

Anyone else using Live Wallpapers on FRX04? I am not...

Hello everyone. Just wanted to give my 2 cents as far as what I have noticed with the FRX04 reference build. Ive been using the reference FRX04 for a week or so now and it really works quite well. Seems pretty fast. On occasion I have to hit the power button a few times to wake from sleep. The only problem I've had is that the time starts to drift after I run haret from WinMo. It does not just jump it slowly drifts off. It takes a few days to really notice. I have the phone set to use network provide values. I also notice that the reception bars will go to none if I have not made a call before it sleeps for a long while (maybe an hour). If I turn airplane mode on and back off reception bars come back. Thanks for all the work all the developers have done on getting Android working on the Touch Pro2. This is really a very good phone WinMo is just not a very good OS for it.

You should read the thread entitled:

Your clock issue is in there, as is the workaround.

is there a way to improve my gps location? On the older build I ran gps status and it would pinpoint my location within seconds.

I installed the app and turned on Use GPS satellites and use wireless networks along with gps status and its been about half an hour with my location still unknown.

Is there a better app to pinpoint my location?

No that I've found. Running QuickGPS in WinMo greatly reduces lock times for me in Android. Not sure how we can get an app to do this for us in Android, especially when WinMo is gone...

I was hoping GPS Status in Android would, but it doesn't seem to push the values onto the radio like QuickGPS seems to do.

Wow don't know how I missed that thread, Sorry. So the issue is that neither FRX03 or 04 can get time from the carrier, so it has to use NTP to get time via the internet. I do not have the data service turned on on this phone so I will have to live with it for the time being. Otherwise this build works well though. Battery life is also very good.

Don't use the CAB, use the RAR (or compressed file, not sure if it's a ZIP or 7z or RAR...)

You should be able to set sleep mode to 1, even when overclocking. As for the orange led, make sure gps is disabled. You can find that gps tip and many others over here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/tp2-androi...ds-1-31-a.html
