Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [11/221] FRX03 Reference!

Hi guys,

I am sorry, i am a noob on this project, however i ve been using a previous BLZN version around last September and i find it great, minimal issues on my TP2.

I just decided to upgrade when i saw the FRZ03 was out, so i made a total fresh install, but now for some reason the POWER botton, which should be the Home botton is just dubbing the END CALL botton, which is the Android Power.

Both are doing the same thing and i can t find a way to access the home page anymore with any botton. I just have to click beack several times till i get home, which is obviously wrong.

Did i do something wrong or is there a way to remap the HOME botton or is a know bug ?

Any help is very appreciated, thank you very much.

Search the forum... I have been compiling the kernel, modules, and rootfs with the buttons remapped for everyone. Can't link it well on my phone, but just look below the stickies ;)

Are you running reference or did you manually update the pieces? I was going to update the pieces manually (FRX03 from the link Arrrghhh posted few days ago), kernel, etc, just haven't had the freaking time

I'm using the reference RAR. I always like the idea of manually updating but usually never get around to it lol.

im running the new reference and i cant get Angrybirds to work. before i boot i went into adv settings and checked enable 3d left everything else the way it is since i dont now what therefore. But How do i get Angry birds to work?

Since the update I've not been able to get angry birds to work either neither from restoring a titanium backup copy, or from fresh install from market. Seems to be the ONLY of my apps that will not work at this time.

lol Nate already responded so I won't copypasta the link, but yea... this has already been addressed, and we're working on a commit to be able to pick and choose based on a startup.txt value...

Oh noes no Angry Birds?!?! What ever are you going to do...

Even if it does work, it can't work well. It clearly requires OpenGles2.0, and our hardware will never support that. I hear a version designed for old crappy phones is getting released. I almost dread that release...
