Tilde88 - so I hope it makes sense to you now?
animez - Android to Android/Linux, now you follow the logic?
boodaka & mikee4fun & boodaka- No metro, old phone on Sprint

so now that you all got your lil weak a$$ roast out there do any of you have the answer or a solution? If not shut the phuck up and let a real developer answer the question.

Has any developers been able to pull the sound drivers from the Verizon HTC Incredible to see if they will work for our touch pro2 in Android? Does any one have knowledge on how to develop the drivers if those won't work.

It's called an internet forum, don't take it so personal.

That being said, do you have know if the Incredible and TP2 share the same sound hardware? If not it would be a huge waste to time for a dev to pursue.

I did not take it personal, I knew it was a joke, hence the word "roast". I'm not attempting to be rude either. I just really want to work on this issue of the sound drivers and the jokes weren't helping.
I don't know if the two phones share the same hardware, I'm just hoping.

is any progress being made on enabling bluetooth on the Android port? i would sacrifice outward sound (speaker, ringer, etc.) to be able to use my bluetooth headset. i love the Android platform on the TP2 but i have to switch to winmob when i need to drive because of the handset law. any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I am in the same boat. Sound + battery life are currently the key things keeping me going back to winmo. Winmo crashes very frequently for me as I have activesync going every now and then and at some point winmo fragments the memory enough to require a reset (Cleanram helps but after few runs of Cleanram, I have to reset to get it working properly).

Otherwise I am ok with the speed specially using the "dirty" kernel which is definitely faster and very very usable.

J/K :) Good luck with the port. I'm sure I'll still follow the progress on the TP2.

Nice phone, but I'm on SERO.. $30/month - unlimited text and data.. It's not worth an extra $50/month. That comes to $600/year.. every year.
