Your answer is literally in the message that you quoted... I think now Ive seen it all.

REMOVE THE OVERCLOCK OR LOWER IT.

This is what I am finding as well. Whatever changes were made to the latest release, I can't seem to overclock as high as before. just keeping it at 700 now.

So change the 841728 to 700???? Seems like a big change... Sorry if I'm misunderstanding this one.

Guys we really have to do a MUCH better job of reading before we post a question. 98% of you questions have already been asked and answered in the 5-10 pages prior to your post. I know it sucks but it's the one part of surfing a forum that no one else can do FOR you, you HAVE TO READ!

Thx,

Mgmt

It's only a big change cause most of us cant get ours to operate on that high of an OC, mine seems to like it right around 766800.

not 700; 700000 or the overclock reefer uses 716800 or just remove this line in general if neither work for you. This has been answered as a six digit number in many startup.txt posted in the last ten pages and in the FAQ. If you see a six digit number that follows the 'acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=' that is lower than the 841728 you posted then you might have more luck. Please read and stop filling the forums with the same questions answered several times.

If you are still having problems start over by reformatting your SD card like it suggests in the FAQ and teradog's thread on how to get android running( http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/tp2-androi...pt-2010-a.html ). Teradog even puts links up to reformatting tools that do it super quickly. Then copy your startup.txt for your specific carrier from the FAQ or copy it from someone who posted their startup.txt configuration for your carrier and paste it over the startup.txt file that was in Reefer's package. Then save it as the same file name. Then highlight and copy everything inside the andboot folder and drag into the root of your storage card. Run file explorer from winmo and select Haret. Presto.

Side note; I typically download and unpack Reefer's rar file on my pc and drag and drop everything to the root of my storage card via windows mobile device center (WMDC). I believe you need to edit the startup.txt file on your pc and not on your storage card through WMDC or it will not save the changes.

Now someone answer one of my damn redundant questions! jk, kind of.

You can't use OI File Manager. Install Root Explorer by placing the attached file in your Android Apps folder. Now boot into Android and find the program in applications. Browse to /system/app and find/delete the gmail.apk. Delete by press and hold until dialog box shows. Hit delete. Reboot.

Good luck :)
