Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/16] FRX01 FINAL!

I love the 8/26 build but I am really tempted to just go with reference build.

Only reason so far why I haven't is because looks like what a few guys been working on with battery meter has seemingly worked better on the older build (could be mistaken).

Broke down last night and gave Ref 9-16 a try... and at least one thing is confirmed:

I love android however it comes, Blazn or Stock lol!

I can easily see the performance increases of FRX01 over the previous builds!

I really must say... it's a geek masterpiece that can only get even better in the future!

Where did you see/hear that?

I run 'em all... Just have them sorted in different folders on the SD to keep my sanity.

Battery meter is a fickle thing in general (even on WinMo) and it's way too easily misreported because of the placebo effect. I think the battery meter is actually getting better in new builds, and there's also some new code flying around that hasn't been committed yet - but looks promising.

If you use the reference build, how do you overclock it? Thanks.

It's pretty obvious that you haven't read the FAQ which is on the first post...

OK guys, I need some help....I am running the reference build 9/16 and love it!!! I have read all the posts about overclocking and have entered in the code in the startup file acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=716800 and changed the sleep mode to 2 but when I run the haret file to boot linux, it says it does not recognize the acpuclock entry...I have checked the spelling, tried it with spaces etc but no go...Is there a certain spot in the startup file it is suppose to go and do I need to enter any special characters etc......Any help would be appreciated!!!

I believe you entered it as a new line in the text file.

Place it within the ***set cmdline*** section. i put it at the end of the string, before the quotes closed.
