Is anyone having problems downloading apps from the market on the 8/30? I had no problems on 8/26.

  1. Uninstalled android
  2. deleted all android files off my SD card
  3. moved everything from my SD card to my PC
  4. reformatted the SD card using the PC
  5. moved everything from my PC to the SD card
  6. reinstalled android

Is anyone experiencing SOD (Sleep Of Death) on BLAZN? My phone will work fine all day long as long as I am fiddling with the phone and not ignore it for more than an hour or two. If I stop playing with the phone for more than 1-2 hours the phone will not come out of sleep. The LED light shows green but will not respond.

I have been searching all day to see if anyone has experienced this but all post are a few months old. Haven't found a solution yet. I even went as far as removing the overclock command on Startup.txt to make sure its not the overclock.

I need a solution just because I want to be able to use Android as primary OS but I cant leave the phone in my pocket too long without it going into SOD. My biggest concern is that I cant use it as my alarm, so before going to bed I boot into WinMo so I can use G-Alarm to wake me up for work.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It's probably the overclock to a speed your phone doesn't like. Try changing the speed in your startup.txt file.

In Call Volume Update

For those of you having issues with sound being too loud, and having distortion in your speaker (could possibly fix the echo too, if the echo is caused by the speaker being too loud) here is an update thanks to Sovereignty. For now, since its still a bit dirty, I wont make a whole new build with it included, but below is the download link for the kernel pack. You will need to delete your old zimage and modules files both, and replace them with the ones in this zip archive.

Well like I said, I even removed the whole overclock command in the StartUp.txt so I should be running at stock speeds and I get the same problem whether its overclocked or not.

Should I leave the overclock command and just assign it the stock clock value instead of removing the whole command? It doesnt memorize the previous clock speeds when you reset the phone right? Its gotta be defined by the StartUp.txt at boot in order to apply the overclock?

At the moment I am reformatting the Storage Card in Fat32 and doing a clean install from the .rar file and see if I see any difference. I already went through this process 2 days ago but it didnt fix it when using .cab file again.

my txt messaging via sprint doesn't work at all, but gvoice works great. I get that crash message everytime i try to send a message from the native sprint txt app.

my internet keeps on opening and closing.

my marketplace opens and closes.

other than that i'm using blazin and it is really fast. not like the last build. if i could get my txt messages, internet explorer and market place to work i would probably switch over.

i also had to remove my sim card and choose force cdma when i started it. anyone else had to do that?

THanks,
Sid
