Without peoples previous work like Phh, or WisTilt2's insight, ACL and Wozzer and their crew banging away at it over and over and over, this never would have happened. Make sure you guys understand not just a couple people fixed this issue.
Reef you're absolutely right there are alot of unsung heroes that have made both minor and major contributions to the progress we've seen in this project... just don't forget to name yourself, you've been a champion for those of us who were once left out on the CDMA side! Thanks for your dedication and skill!

I showed it to my co worker and noticed that there was a his, but when I hit the volume button it went away.

There is a noticeable pop when you enter some type of sound app.

Pop or no Pop this Rocks.

LOL... POP ROCKS

I do on my sprint tp2 as well. Sound does work though I tested with a mp3 Plugging in headphones doesn't do anything though sound and hiss/pop still come through the back speaker regardless of my plugging in headphones. I have changed ringer volume and media volume and hiss/pop is still there. I am using a fat32 card I am gonna try ext2 maybe tonight or this weekend, although I never have before.
Now if only I can get I heart radio to work.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!

Installed on my Sprint TP2. Hissing/static begins during Android bootup and continues when fully booted. Pressing volume/calling the phone will stop it momentarily but it always begins again. Tried changing startup.txt cpu frequency setting back to 500 (or stock) but that made no difference. Also, when on a call, the speaker phone does not output sound and if you put it in speaker phone mode this will cause the sound to mute on the phone.

Only report this to help those who have come this far diagnose what may be wrong, if they care to do so. I remain appreciative of everyone's efforts!

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!

I just installed the new cab over the prior 8/18 cab and all my custom user settings remained intact. Is this normal operating procedure or did I get lucky?
