Anyone get swype working?

I signed up for the new Swype Android Beta found here http://beta.swype.com/ which seems to be closed now. So it installed an Installer, then I ran that and it connected to swype and installed a Wvga Swype trial. But when I turn it on I get a message about this is not the correct device. It works as a keyboard, but not the swype guestures, it doesn't type anyting if I swype a word. I have noticed that the double tap problem doesn't exist when using it, but other than that it's pointless without the swyping working.

Anyone have a working version?

swype works on mine but its...well its not as good as the omnia 2 version which in my eyes is the best version of swype

Works for you in Xandroid or Windows Mobile?

Edit: had to redownload the Swype Installer, it is now installed and working on my TP2 running Android. Sweet!

since its in android forum i'd go with the windows version =P
kidding its the android version
keys are bigger but swype 2.0 is the best

I'd recommend SlideIT Keyboard Lite from the android market. It's free, and I can't get the trial of swype to work.

Stinkin beta is closed! Darn! Luv swipe on winmo and would luv it on android.

Pretty please? I also got that stupid warning about the wrong device. It works as a normal keyboard without the Swype feature.

There are some industrious guys on ppcwarez.
Take a look there.

then see if you can find a file that says:
-HVGA-trial-release.1.16.12.5228.219

or maybe one that says:
ver0.35.3959_nexus_delfix

I'm just say'n.

also if you want it for your HTC TP2

something about wvga or vga, with the S word.

I've seen it working on both.

of course not the same program and not by the same peeps.
Try the XDA guys. They are pretty good.

My brother has the Moto Droid, and he can't even get Swype working.
