Any way to remove Amazon Mp3 and other apps from Application Launcher??

My understanding is that Amazon Mp3 and other standard applications included in the stock build of Froyo are not removable.

But is there any way to at least remove the icon from showing in the application launcher?

Also, google talk is a huge pain, I really wish I could remove it!
