Looking for something like Conky

For those of you who run linux boxes probably know that little program. Has anyone seen anything that would be able to run on our phones like conky?

That would be geek heaven. really. have you tried to just run the conky binaries? I am not very knowledgeable android, is the GUI even xorg?
