That's the stupidest analogy ever. The phone works just fine, it just doesn't last as long as you'd like it. To continue with your awesome analogy: Plenty of people love sports cars (In this case, Android), even though they get less gas mileage than some small generic coupe (WinMo), and I'm sure the sports car owners (Everyone who voted for anything other than power) think they are plenty good. If they run out of gas, they put more in. If you run out of battery, charge it

There is one problem... Currently you Can't charge the battery in Android.. The point I was simply making is what good is a great device with sound if you can't run it?

But anyways, the poll is really a moot point since I'm sure the developers are working on many different issues. Alot of different factors go into what gets fixed first so in the end it doesn't really matter. If sound gets fixed first... that's totally fine.. or vice versa. I'm sure we'll all be happy.

I can see where you are coming from. A better analogy would be a small gas tank, no gauge to see how much gas you have left and no way to refuel. If that was your car, would the radio not working really be the first thing you complain about? :evil4:

ha ha... it's all good.

The poll is sort of silly because it's not like you have to pick one or the other... I think there are 3 or 4 on that list that we can ALL agree that are important.

I actually picked sound over power management. Technically it should not be used as your main os but just something to play with and see how far along that the devs have gotten. Mainly right now its just people that want to play with it for a bit and go back to winmo. I like being able to see what apps they have out there and hear what the makers of the apps want me to hear as i am playing with it. The power is not a huge concern (yet) for me since i am generally only in Android for about an hour at a time. They are both very high up on the to do list i bet but we are still in the playing stages and not a live os stage.

You know what the crazy part is? Even at the just playing stage Android is more stable on the TP2 than winmo. Faster in some respects too.

This exactly.

Again just my opinion, but once the power/sound issues are worked out that will probably get most of us on Android long term.

Right now it's usually just a few hour experimentation here and there.

Yeah I think once sound is integrated into our new lil project the fun will just continue.. but power management does hold a high rank though..
