Betcha anything your bad SD card wasn't partitioned properly. And re-formatting generally doesn't delete partitions which is why re-formatting didn't work for you

id bet your right. it was only partitioned in at 3.76gb thats fairly low compared to some of the other ones ive had which come in at 3.85 etc

...which probably means that you had an extended partition that had a logical partition within it. Haret only wants to see the one partition
