Re: [3/6/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
Things are coming along nicely...
The phone does not turn off its backlight which means its chewing up battery even when its off. Having to take out my SIM card is annoying, otherwise it stays in airplane mode. I roam once in a while and I really don't want to think about where I put the SIM card when I do. Also, the screen seems to be overly sensitive, like it will double type characters or think I am clicking when I'm not. |

Downloaded and installed correctly the first time.
SMS working, 3G Data working. Speakerphone volume is low, but I can live with it. SWEET!!!!

I am using the standard home screen and my notifications show up on the left side of the top banner. Home++ is a bit different, If you use it you'll need to invoke the notifications section. To do this, slide the bottom toolbar to the right - you'll see additional icons. It is a bit tough to make this happen right now, I press on the microphone icon and slide from there - seems to work. Anyway, once you get the second set of icons - you'll see one that is a speech bubble with an exclamation point inside. Click that and you'll get the notification window, showing any new messages/alerts/etc. |
