Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
Thats really to bad! If he gets this working he really deserves a whole keg to himself lol. I got a dub spot on it!

Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
exactly my point, we all need to just calm down. As far as CDMA goes we have yet to see any real progress. I certainly applaud and stand behind Civic, but still see nothing different in this build from the ego posted one except maybe better button mapping. If I get some spare time I will try to get my head into the ring, but my unix/linux knowledge is more perl centric than anything.

Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
This isn't fully true, if you guys had been following this all the way back, there were a few other devs who started to help. I actually directed them away from working on data and more towards working on things civic wasn't already working on, wifi, sound, phone, better screen calibration.

Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
There would probably be more help if we could get at his changes. Granted I've not done this before, but I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and try (got a dev env set up!), but we can't see what he's done so far!
CIVIC! Come back to us and get your changes public PLEASE! Thanks for all the work so far...gives us hope for CDMA! |
