Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
honestly if he knew how long it really would take it would probably be done since he would have known what to do exactly... considering it took the GSMers nearly a year to get data with a bunch of people all at once, don't expect any miracles overnight.

Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
it's called a cold activated can with a vented wide mouth, many call it the silver bullet, others call it a coors light
And I'm slowly sipping on it and enjoying this long weekend Miracles happen, but haven't you heard that saying..the wait makes the prey so much better |

Yikes! This is starting to sound like the pre-release CDMA HSPL thread... Progress will be made when progress is made.

Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
Stupid question but please be kind. Followed all the steps and read evey post and things are working fine. I am on Verizon and did not put my sim card back in. I am however able to make and receive phone calls but the lock screen says no sim card. Do I need it when running android or will it somehow screw things up?

Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
I was able to setup the dev environment on a Ubuntu Virtualbox. Built the zImage but it doesn't boot up..(jus shows the blank screen after the system messages)... I need to look into it further..hopefully can figure it out soon..
