Re: [2/27/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

WPA2-Personal using AES encryption working great. There should be no need for keeping your wireless network open.

Re: [2/27/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

I'm having a little problem with the wifi, it doesn't connect. Tried the suggestions and downloaded the updated file on the first post but no luck.

Side notes: wifi router no security
started wifi in wm and used the web a bit
then started android
in android turned on wifi and it just says searching for about 2 min then it says no network found
tried web browser and it says there is no network
Added network manually but nothing

Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. I first tried WPA2 (TKIP + AES), then made my wireless network open with no security. No luck for either. I connected to my wifi network prior to loading haret.exe. In wireless settings, I enter my SSID and it says not in range. I tried power toggling on-off the wifi in android and sometimes it says scanning endlessly. I live in an apartment where there are multiple wifi networks with all different types of security.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, and confirmed from my end. Looks like it just doesn't like WEP. WPA Personal with AES works great.

Re: [2/27/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

Quick Question:

If I load Android for my TP2, and dual boot it with WinMO 6.5 (Mighty WAR rom 2/26/2010), is there a simple way to completely erase Android and the dual boot option when I get done playing with it and just want Strictly windows on my device again as if I had never put android on there?

just delete the files from your sd card...sync open the sd folder and delete the files.

andriond is never on your phone, its on your storage card. i happen yo have an old 1gb layin aroud dedicated to andriod. also, you dont need the dual boot program to run android its just icing onthe c ake. but if you use the dual boot app, its just a cab, it uninstalls easily.
this is from the first post.
Instructions:
1) Delete existing android files (ensure data.img is deleted)
2) Extract files from zip onto root of SD card

i figured you knew all about android after you were flamin my boy salty so hard the other day.
