If there are any resources or pointers anyone can provide on how to dig into the OS, I am all ears..and eyes. 'Trial' and 'Error' are in my blood. What fun would it be if everything worked the first time?

At this point I am looking forward to the following: 1) Marketplace - so I can load apps 2) External speaker - so I can hear the phone ring 3) GPS - so I know where I am 4) power management - so my battery will last

Page one and your off...

I tried this, I guess you could say it worked .... however it deleted all of my contacts and calender from Windows and is no longer able to be put back on my device from MyPhone. I re-synced my phone with Google and it put the contacts back on, however no of them have names. I am really upset because I had about 4 years worth of Calender appointments on my device and all of my contacts. If anyone has any clues, besides starting all over fresh.

Go to the myphone website on your computer, myphone.microsoft.com. All of your info should still be loaded in archives even if its not loading directly onto your phone. I dont use myphone anymore so I dont know if you can make it sync back to your phone but you should be able to access the info.

You messed up somewhere I don't know what did you do but i've done it and I did not lose my ability to sync with windows mobile device center(windows 7) it kept all my contacts/ calender events. Did you ever use the free program called microsoft my phone it back up contacts/calender/text online (but that is off topic so i can't go much into it)

Sorry about that guys but this is not an android issue and I probably shouldnt have posted it here to begin with but it happened right after I loaded android so initially I thought it was.

Anyway, Im running MR. X's newest build (which is amazing). Shortly after loading android the speaker and mic went out on my phone. I figured out it wasnt related to Android because the same issue persisted on the WM side. I know its not Android related because I remembered that the same thing happened before (also while running Mr. X). Only solution seems to be a hard reset. I dont want to clog this thread with unrelated posts so if anyone has any questions or are able to help pm me please.

have you posted in X's thread and asked him if he has any idea why this would be happening? since it's happened on two of his roms, he may be interested on knowing there's an issue?

haha, totally didnt notice they said they had used myphone, I haven't used myphone in forever, but I know in beta there was an app that would load the data from myphone onto your computer. Might be worth looking into.

Yeah I use MyPhone all the time and thats all I use for contacts. Mazzakre helped me get it all back, so I am good now.

This has been addressed, Mr. Pippy had to hard code this in to fix something else he was working on.
