Thanks so much to Civic for starting the original work on this and tons thanks to MrPippy for getting a Rhodium and doing tons of his work. I know it is questionable bout the Sim card in or out biz, I don't know, I have worked everytime I booted into it but saw the discussion so removed mine from the getgo since I don't need it and it has worked everytime so far.

Things I am having issues with, which I am sure will get worked out, is my Notification LED stays on all the time, somteims flashes between green and orange but most of the time is green. Not a big deal at all just figure it would wear the battery down faster. Also my battery always shows 100%, saw someone else state that as well. So guessing that one isn't just me. Not a major deal, but hopefully that in time will be an easy fix. But now that we have Full phone working with SMS and Data I can at least stay on Android now heh, had to have that SMS for Alarms at work heh. Market will be the next biggie so we can browse for apps from the phone.

The touchscreen is sensitive, I might try deleting if it has one, the calibration tool and see if that helps, but when using onscreen keyboard get lots of double types same on dialer. Minor drawback just pointing it out. And the phone always comes up in landscape and I have to open keyboard and close to move back, no biggie there either. Can't wait till we get sound working with the ringer and such but vibrate is good enuf for now heh.

Thanks again so much for all the efforts looking forward to the next release!

No I got that part, I'm talking about when Android actually starts... Before we always were just told to click skip skip skip... Do we still do that, or do we Begin and Setup our Google accounts?

I skipped it then set it up manually...

is there a way to run this thing while keeping your SD card organized?

???? Just leave everything as is on the Sdcard...create a separate folder for Android or just leave it named as it is....which is what I did...

Wait so is MrPippy taking over this project? I have been following this thread since its inception but I have been waiting for a "working" (working as in full functionality of data, sms, and calling features including ringer) version of android before going through the trouble of loading it up on my sd card. Civc I made a small donation to you (sorry bro I'm a student and times are hard right now) for your work so far. I'm really excited about this project and hope to be running a fully functional android on my TP2 so I just want to know who to be following from now on. Thanks a bunch guys, everyone here makes me <3 my TP2.

It really is not a lot of trouble bro....very simple process...

Hi everyone, didn't know civic was going to release a build with this RIL but it's good to see it getting some testing. It still has bugs, but when it works, it works 8)

I'm not sure what causes it to not work sometimes (when the phone boots into airplane mode), but I think it might be linked to WinMo's data connection staying open. Before booting into Linux, try stopping the Data Connection in the Comm Manager.

I also don't know whether having a SIM card inserted matters or not. I've had my Sprint SIM in, but it isn't activated (and I haven't done any GSM unlocking).

Market: I'm pretty sure I know why the Market isn't working: the RIL isn't reporting a IMEI, which should be fixable.

Geolocation: Yeah, the cellular geolocation shows up as Switzerland. I just hardcoded that in when I was trying to debug something and needed a LAC/CID to put in. Actual CDMA geolocation would be way cool but it's not something we have on the other CDMA phones, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

Thanks everyone for the donations, and I'll be making a new thread within a day or two.

Nice work bro...it is working great for me...

I just downloaded, going to test it today for awhile. This should be fun. I'll let you know how it goes.

This works pretty well. The only problem I have (other than the obvious no sound and missing power management) is that it seems like touch response is a bit delayed. For instance, when I hold down on the homescreen it selects something as soon as it pops up as though it thinks I was still pressing when the popup occured.
