Re: Android, it's alive!.. (2.0.1) - Updated 12/24
For all of you having problems with it, obviously #1 make sure your microSD card is CLEAN and formatted FAT32.
#2, download the build to your computer. then hook up your TP2 to your cpu via usb cable. select disk drive mode, and then Unrar/Unzip it to your microsd card via your computer, ie, extract to... F: or E: or whatever the Drive name is of your microsd card connected to your computer is. Originally I tried unzipping it to the card via the card and via storage memory and i was NEVER able to get it running until i unzipped it to the card via my computer/usb cable. when you see the multi colored X tap it a few times, wait 2 min, tap a few more times, wait 2 min, etc. I have used the microsd card that came with the original TP, on the 1st time it boots it takes ~5-7min, after that it takes 2-3min. Good luck!!!! |

my android works fine as well. the first time i kept it in its folder in the root of the card and i got an error about rootfs or something. i moved the contents of the folder to the root and put everything else in a folder i created and it boots for me.
im using an 8gb kingston class 4 card EDIT: i wish sound worked. i want to play with Arnold Sounds lol |

Well tried to get it going on my 16GB Class 6 card, no dice... tried to clean the card and copy it on... no dice. That 16GB card just didn't work for me.
Used an old 2GB microSD I had, formatted it with FAT32, copied the contents of the android zip file on it, launched Haret... took 6-7 mins the first time then failed... had to remove battery and put it back in... but then it worked good, takes 2-3 mins to boot up. Really excited about this, I hope it pans out!! |

I have a 4gb class 2 Sandisk HC card and I was able to extract the zip to the root of the drive and boot to the animated multi colored X but did not get any farther than that. I also did not completely wipe the card, so I will try again with everything on the card still and see what happens.
