This is great news. If they get Android development on the TP2 to the same level as Vogue that would make for a perfect phone as it would have the best of both worlds with an amazing screen and keyboard. I'm dissapointed to see that HTC doesn't have many upcoming models with keyboards (certainly nothing at the same level as TP2).

I just ran it on my phone, it's kind of trippy because of the mirrored touch, you want to say SKIP and your have to press the button on the opposite side, even when there isn't a button available... I tried to sign in, keyboard didn't work though (on screen keyboard) nor the hardware keyboard, still cool that it boots though!

looks like the bounty thread over at xda really caught someones attention :)

this is just the kind of news i was waiting for to make my day 1000000x better.
cant wait till a full blown working version is available!

There is also a 2.1 version that is booting. Still has all the issues.

I'm interested to see how this advances. The tp2 keyboard with android is enough for me to do a backflip... No not really, but I would be excited. I would love to see some screen shots if anyone has them.
