Camcorder.. I thought worked, but to be honest I think I only tested photos, not videos...

MMS works, even on Sprint. detule tested it (although he doesn't use it often, he did successfully send/receive.) Did you configure your APN? Also, you should know... MMS does now work with Google Voice. They haven't integrated it into the UI (web or app) and I don't think you can send MMS - but you can receive now. They come in as a funky looking text on GV, and then you get an email with the pic. Pretty ghetto fantastic, but it works I guess. Better than the MMS disappearing into neverneverland.

I wonder what kernel you're on as well...?
Oh nevermind. i was testing the headset jack while previewing ringtones rather than using youtube and other media .

As for the camcorder, I've used different programs, but I found the same issue. When I switch from camera to camcorder, everything's fine. the problem starts when i click the "Start Recording" button. That's when the phone doesn't respond, and it shows the Not Responding pop-up. I use kernel .27.

MMS is weird. I've told two friends to send me pics on both numbers. They both use Iphone. From one of them, i get nothing at all. From the other, sometimes i get it, but when it comes, it just shows the Download button, and once i press the button, it never really downloads. Sometimes i get the photo regularly. I will test it some more today with different people and see if the problem is with my phone.

MMS sucks... I'm not sure we'll ever have it 'stable'. Google Voice used to just send the MMS message into neverneverland - and I'd never even get an indication that I got it. Now, with the GV updates, I at least get an email with the message.

See here to read more.

As for the camcorder, thanks for the report. I'll look into it... I know I didn't test this .

If you can provide logs from the camcorder lockup, that would help. I'm not going to be able to really look at it until Sunday. Goin campin!

I also got the camcorder problem, I could start it, and it would seem like it works but when you wait a bit it'll show force close/wait window

after you close it, when you try to load up camera again it doesn't work [crashes]
here's my log of it, sorry if it isn't right one, I just loaded up the getlog app and clicked the get a file button :S is there another way to get logs?

I did edit out my phone number/wifi name in the logs though

When you use music, it leaves the speaker on after youre done. I think it does this with all the kernels. you can really here the speaker crackling after the app is closed.

Can't reproduce. With the music app that comes stock, after I press the pause button, I can hear static for maybe half a second after which i can clearly hear it go completely off.

Logs, or it didn't happen.

Re: [TESTING] XDAndroid GBX0B 2.3.7 Build

I have found two very small bugs. Frequently the wifi connection will not change it's icon from white to green when connected. Still works, but the indicator just doesn't change color.
2nd when using the caps lock the keyboard caps lock led will stay lit after leaving a typing space, closing the slider, or sleep mode. It will then type in lower case with the caps lock led lit.
Like I said very very minor, but something I noticed.

Overall the package is much more stable than Froyo. Very good job.

i just installed the latest GBX0B_Full_Bundle_2011.12.30.zip downloaded at 8:30 pm pst on jan 21st on ROHD 400 sprint TP2.

i have copied the latest csv files from windows directory to the root folder as per the instructions.

everything works fine except the speaker for incoming calls or the music played through speakers. no ringtone or music thru the speakers

here is the msg printed in get logs.

This is useless out of context. If you have the complete output of GetLogs please attach that.

Which kernel are you on? Again this excerpt is useless without the complete log, but there is a different forum for posting impressions of the +.39 kernels.

Ok, I don't know if i did it right. I rebooted the phone, tried the camcorder which didn't work. went to GetLogs, and pressed Just a File. Then i transferred the data.txt file into my computer and put it in a zip file. then attached it here. Hopefully what's in that file makes sense to you
