Which kernel are you using karimkahale?
If it is 3.3.6 or newer you must install an app in android to control the cpu frequency (I use No Frills CPU Control, which is free on the market).
If you are using 2.6.39, 3.0, 3.2, or up to 3.3.4 then you need to use the startup command:
acpuclock-arm11.oc_freq_khz=xxxxxx
If you are still using the kernel bundled with GBX0C (2.6.27) use this startup command:
acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=xxxxxx
Of course those lines need to be placed in startup.txt within the quotes after: set cmdline "here!".

There is one problem on my rhodium 400, being used in GSM mode, once the phone loses signal, the phone goes in "searching for networks" and does not re-acquire the signal. Only re-boot will fix that.

Is there any fix for this?

You can try cycling the radio - airplane mode on/off. Sometimes it fixes it, sometimes it doesn't...

You have a RHOD400? Cam should work fine. What kernels have you tried? Did you pull any logs? Is it the camcorder or camera.

Don't use task killers/RAM managers. See my speed improvements thread.

Can't access SIM card, can't really help you. Use Google to import contacts perhaps...?

Either way you still haven't posted any logs. So you're on your own.

Karim, you should update to the newest kernel from here:

.39+ kernels are auto-built at:

Htc-Msm-Kernel-Autobuild

Download the newest package 3.3.8 and unzip the files to the root of your SD Card, overwriting zimage then reboot.

I am pretty sure that there was a camera fix added around version 3.3.4 or something. The newest kernel is very stable and responsive.

i downloaded the newest package and replaced the old modules and zimage by the new ones.i tried first to run haret but it showed at the end an error :"can't access root..." though it was on the root of my device.then i formatted the sd card, deleted the pervious data.img and run haret.i got the same error.why is that happenning?
