Not sure what's going on, my power button works fine to wake the phone up or put it to sleep.

Since it didn't work before in OMGB, but it works in FRX and LK I would hazard a guess that something is corrupt elsewhere in your OMGB install.

My power button worked as expected, both before and after the switch.

So I know I should've gotten logs but I was out and someone was trying to call me...

Basically all audio died, completely. No ringtone preview, no message notifications, no actual ringtones, can't hear anyone in-call, they can't hear you... you get the point.

ACL, I know you said the acoustic stuff you grabbed might be a little old - I don't know what in particular resolved the issue, but you might want to look and see if you've got all the patches from Alex & emwe.

I'll try and pull logs next time it happens - unfortunately I never found a way to consistently reproduce it, just after extended uptimes audio would just flake out...

Hi ACL, you forgot commit file arch/arm/mach-msm/include/mach/tpa2016d2.h and /drivers/i2c/chips/tpa2016d2.c to git server. compile kernel fail.

I clone source files from https://github.com/acl/device_htc_rhodium, clone AOSP 2.3.7
How to compile device_htc_rhodium, I try to put directory device_htc_rhodium in AOSP directory, then use command make libhtc_acoustic to compile, then fail

I'll push the missed files today. I didnt realize i missed these files.. thanks. I would have noticed eventually since the clean kernels are done by another server.

I cant help you with the compile process. I share device directory across CM7, OMGB and Evervolv so i do a lot of manual process myself. I do this so i dont have to have 3 diff gits for these builds. I was hoping that the OMGB team would eventually support our device so we can all just pull and compile fresh, but they have moved on to ICS and omgb itself is considered legacy.

You just want to compile libhtc_acoustic ? I guess the easiest way would be to replace all the Eris or hero libs with our libs and compile as if it was for those devices. Then you will have all the libs compiled. Then take our build and pop in your libs to test your progress.

All ready did that, different cable and usb port.

In Windows Vista, the ADB Interface driver installed without a problem (check under device manager).

Same thing under linux, running lsusb shows that a google device is connected (ID 18d1:0001).

Under both os's, fastboot says there is no device connected.

Note: this is not the same pc I used to install nand the first time.

Problem solved.

Never could figure out what went wrong. I just reinstalled Ubuntu, android sdk, fastboot, setup udev and everything went fine. I guess something was wrong with my previous Ubuntu install.

Well, up and running again!

Thank you all for your support! :notworthy:

Compile audio lib and kernel from latest git server code, new uevent.rhodium.rc, new AcousticRHOD400CSV's on sdcard , No sound ,

arrrghhh said New Acoustic not work on kernel .27? will produce no audio.
So , nand kernel will update to .35 too?

Uhhh.... What I said doesn't have anything to do with NAND. Please don't mix what I said in another thread with this thread... HaRET & NAND are separate things, let's keep them separate!!

Muz, thats not how it works on nand. THe csv files must be on /etc. Also Ive already done all of this on .27 nand and people have been using it for over a week now so what makes you think .27 has no sound?

ALso in the future, yes we will go .35 but not until we have a first full rom release out. :drunken:
