Re: [TESTING] Updated 2/27/11 New Kernel - Fast/Fixed Panel!

Just had a SOD (solid green LED). I'll post log when I'm back in Android; I need phone to use without interruption now so I'm back to WinMo.

Got a couple freezes, requires you to slide out keyboard to fix. Noticed on the last one thed led was solid orange. Phone wasn't in use.

Just made a quick call.. screen was super laggy.. didn't show I ended the call until about 2 mins afterwards.. guess that's related to graphic issues in this kernel? Anyway it seem to have broken my sleep button (end call), recent program launcher (hold power button) and airplane/sound/shutdown menu (hold end call). Hopefully it fixes after a restart.

I had the same problem, I'll mention it to WisTilt2 when we talk next, I saved some logs from mine but if you happened to grab some from yours it would be great if you posted them. A full power off and reboot did fix it in my case.

Yep, I just had this problem too. It was running great since last night but all of a sudden it came out of sleep. I tried putting it back into sleep but it was super laggy and when the screen finally turned off it refused to go into sleep mode.

A reboot worked.. but my phone died at like 3pm. I only used it when I posted here, tested sleep/wake while twitter was updating, and made that quick call when I discovered the lagginess. Thats litterally it..

Can you check out your logs, my KMSG logs only say:

Just had a sleep of death on the previous 2/28 test kernel. Solid green light, no response from buttons, no light on opening keyboard. Upgrading to the latest now.

Are you noticing these SoD's happening around a certain condition? Like poor service area, some particular app running, etc?

I honestly haven't had a complete SoD in probably a month or more...

Update to the newest, hopefully WisTilt2 turned klog back on - haven't confirmed if he has yet or not. He was moving around where the logs were actually being stored...

Nothing I've noticed. Both of my recent sleep of deaths have been while it's green-LED-sleeping in my pocket in areas I would think would have good coverage. No particular app running seems related.

On the plus side, graphics glitches seem to be gone on the latest.
