Add this to your froyo.user file in your andboot/conf folder. Change your lcd density to either 210 or 240. Your blacklight will turn off for a little bit but then this will turn it back on.

Code:

NAND_Settings{
    #BACKLIGHT
    echo 50 >/sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness
    #LCD_Density
    echo "ro.sf.lcd_density=240" >> /etc/default.prop    #210 or 240
    echo Setting ro.sf.lcd_density=240                    #210 or 240
 }

Keep the old one and open it up with Notepad, then just add to this one. I put mine before this line:
# custom shell commands, these commands run last

ahh damnit.. ok so i guess ill have to spend time and butcher the code a bit. For now i guess we can use the stable nbh until i have a chat with wistilt for a plan on how to fix.

So are we just going use a custom rootfs instead of using the config file?

Thanks!=D>

Up to you guys.. yall are pretty much the NAND team. If nate is happy supporting the rootfs in the mean time, then go that method. My setup is obviously custom for many reasons so i dont have a standard for myself.

Shoot. Yeah give mine a try. Change the extension from .txt to .conf.

1st post....

Ok, I have read each and every post in this thread. I have to say that what youre doing is to be commended. I want to add my TP2 on the list of testers. I will read the noob post VERY carefully and report all my findings. Off hand, is there anything I need to look out for during the process? Keep pushin guys and again, Thanks....

If this is your first time with Android, you're going to want to start with the haret builds. They run entirely off of the SD, and there's a lot less chance of damage occurring. Best to learn how Android works on our phones, and then graduate to NAND testing.
